What we use

knuence.com does not set any cookies of its own. It does not use analytics, advertising or social-media tracking, and it does not store anything in your browser’s local storage. That is why you do not see a cookie banner.

The launch film

The home page shows the official launch film, “The Birth of KNUENCE™”, which is hosted on YouTube. Until you press play, the page makes no connection to YouTube and nothing from YouTube is stored on your device. When you press play, the player loads from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com). From that point YouTube, operated by Google, may store cookies or similar technologies on your device and process data about your viewing, as described in Google’s own privacy policy. If you prefer, you can watch the film on youtube.com instead.

Our hosting provider

Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, may set a strictly necessary security cookie if it needs to check that a visitor is not an automated attack. This cookie does not track you across sites.

When registration opens

The registration form will use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a visitor is a person, not an automated program. Turnstile runs in its own frame provided by Cloudflare. How Cloudflare handles that data is set out in Cloudflare’s own privacy documentation.

Administration area

The private administration area, used only by authorised KNUENCE staff, is protected by Cloudflare Access. It sets a strictly necessary sign-in cookie for those staff. Public visitors never receive it.

If this changes

If we ever add cookies or similar technologies that are not strictly necessary, we will update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
